ADWA Delivers First ‘Goodie Bags’ to Youth Camps

Supporting outdoor education and encouraging youth participation, the American Deer & Wildlife Alliance has initiated an all-new youth program to provision select, outdoor youth camps across the country with special ‘Camper Bags’ for the children enrolled. Among the first camps included in the program are Ted Nugent’s Kamp for Kids in Jackson, Mich.; Beyond the Backyard in Charleston, W.V.; United Sportsmen’s Youth Foundation in Freeport, Ill.; Ray Howell’s Kicking Bear in La Crescent, Minn.; and Texas Deer Association’s Youth Deer Camp in San Antonio, Texas.

“We support the American Deer & Wildlife Alliance in their efforts to create partnerships with the people that work with our kids day in and day out,” adds Mike Bartholdy of Mountain Mike’s Reproduction, which donated antler mount kits for the ADWA Camper Bags. “Those of us that hunt know that our love for the sport goes hand-in-hand with conservation, but we cannot take for granted that future generations will know that.”

Each of the Camper Bags contains ADWA’s Spikes magazines, t-shirts, caps, pocket knives, compasses, hat pins, decals, embroidered patches, license holders, antler mounting kits, education materials, and much more.

ADWA wants deeply to support these camps who are truly on the front lines of helping to educate our children.”
