GMSŪ Announces New Webinars

» View Member Page  |  10-01-09

WACO, Texas - Technology and software change so rapidly these days that it is sometimes difficult to keep up, so GMS® is proud to introduce its new series of GMS ‘Webinar’ training sessions taking place this fall. The Webinars will showcase GMS products and reveal all the functions that will maximize the GMS experience and deliver the full potential of the industry’s leading game management software.

GMS software is considered by most industry experts to be the most complete, yet ‘easy to use’ game management software on the market today.

The online tech support tool, GoToMeeting, will be used for these sessions and GMS recommends a broadband connection so deer breeders can fully view the session. Slower Internet connections will take longer for your screen to show the training session and to refresh.

To participate in any of the above sessions, please send an e-mail request to support@wildlifemanagementsoftware.com. Requests should be received at least THREE HOURS prior to the start time of the connecting to Tech Support’s desktop and viewing the GMS application. Each session will start at 6 p.m. and will last approximately 45 minutes. A question and answer period will follow each session.

There is a limit of 15 attendees to each session so interested persons should send an e-mail request as early as possible.

In return, registrants will receive an e-mail with a link to the meeting. It’s suggested that attendees click on the link and download the software at least 10 minutes before the scheduled meeting. There will also be a telephone number listed in the e-mail that will allow attendees to conference into the meeting. The number is NOT a toll-free number, so long distance expenses may incur depending on the caller’s location.

The Fall Training Session schedule is:

October 14:
Herd Inventory and Dashboard including Lineage (Learn how to setup up animals in the Herd Inventory and review the various options on the Herd Inventory Dashboard)

October 28:
Animal Search (How to maximize use of the Animal Search feature as a search engine and custom reporting tool)

November 18:
Multi-Animal Actions (Time saving features for processing data across several animals)

November 25:
Reporting in GMS Breeder Package (Now that you have your data in GMS, learn how to generate reports.)

December 16:
Sell-A-Deer (Maximize your marketing potential)

December 30:
Open Session

GMS software is considered by most industry experts to be the most complete, yet 'easy to use' game management software on the market today. GMS helps hunting operations and land owners manage properties whose focus is on quality deer and game management (including deer farmers/breeders), organize and maintain all of the pertinent information needed to manage a successful ranch. Innovative and comprehensive, the GMS program allows users to begin quality deer management, track all aspects of a hunting property, develop plans to help maximize herd health, quantify herd ratios, compositions and age structures, develop a wildlife management plan, schedule hunts, record information in the field via Pocket PC technology and much more.
