As advertising clutter increases and urban voices drown out companies and organizations within the deer and wildlife industry, the American Deer & Wildlife Alliance™ (ADWA has launched a series of conservation messages which are now airing on the Outdoor Channel every week. The ADWA video pieces deliver strong conservation and pro-hunting messages air on Keith Warren’s Hunting & Outdoor Adventures every week.
The video messages feature outdoor television celebrity Keith Warren and air varied topics such as urban sprawl, deer farming, land fragmentation, habitat management, hunting issues, and much more. With the broadcast strength of the Outdoor Channel, ADWA’s messages are reaching more than 30 million households.
“ADWA was founded to promote our members and to increase participation within the deer and wildlife industries as a whole, and that’s one of the primary goals of our broadcast messages,” says Annie Jones, director of operations of ADWA. “We want to help educate people on the consequences of land fragmentation, the systematic loss of habitat for our American wildlife and, perhaps even more importantly, we want to encourage our kids to get outdoors so they can perpetuate a connection with nature and wildlife.”
The ADWA video messages are also available as public service announcements for use by industry allies, sponsors and supporters. The ADWA messages are accessible on the ADWA website (www.deerwildlifealliance.org) after each message is first aired by the network.
