RGS-to-Hold-Sorting Clays Fun Shoot in Fairmont
CORAPOLIS, Pa. - The North Central Chapter of the Ruffed Grouse Society will hold a Sporting Clays Fun Shoot at the West Virginia Sportsmen and Firearms Association, Hammond Road, Fairmont, West Virginia on Saturday, August 30, 2008.
The entry fee for this 100-target event is $60 per shooter ($50 if registered before August 25th). Entry fee includes lunch, and awards for High Overall, Top Ladies, Top Youth and High Team Blind Draw.
Youngsters under age 16 shoot free with a paying adult.
According to Roger Williams, registration begins at 9 a.m. (Shoot starts at 10 a.m.), and eye and ear protection is required. All registered shooters will received a complimentary ticket on a special door prize.
Proceeds from this event will be used to restore and protect grouse and woodcock habitat.
