The Outdoor Patriot Show Launches New Website
AUSTIN, Texas — Rallying sportsmen and wildlife enthusiasts to defend and preserve their outdoor American traditions, the Outdoor Patriot Show has launched an all-new website (http://www.OutdoorPatriot.com) to provide more information and daily news on outdoor issues. The new site delivers stronger graphics, industry news feeds, show notes and links, and direct Twitter feeds so sportsmen and wildlife enthusiasts can stay up-to-date on hunting rights issues.
Sponsored by the American Deer & Wildlife Alliance, the Outdoor Patriot podcast features news, lively commentary and special guests on issues that threaten our American outdoor traditions. In addition to making all the current and past shows more easily available for listening and downloads, the new site also streams hunting news from HuntingWire.com and showcases the Outdoor Patriot’s Twitter feed which delivers daily updates on private property, hunting and gun ownership rights issues from across the country.
“Our outdoor way of life is under assault every day and our hunting heritage is at risk like never before, so we’re very excited about the new web site and the ability to give sportsmen more information,” says John Meng, who hosts the show. “The ADWA is working to inform sportsmen on deer and wildlife issues, and the new Outdoor Patriot Show website gives us more tools to reach more people. If we, as sportsmen, fail to get involved or fail to educate our youth on the importance of wildlife and conservation issues, then our hunting heritage that has been handed down from our fathers and grandfathers could completely disappear from the American landscape.”
Recent shows have featured former NFL player Steve McKinney who now owns McKinney Whitetails; Darren La Sorte, national hunting policy manager for the NRA; and Shawn Schafer, executive director of the North American Deer Farmers Association.
