Every year, fewer and fewer children are introduced to the outdoors. The aggressive politics of the animal rights activists, rampant urbanization, and the continued collapse of traditional families are ongoing and serious threats to our American outdoor and agricultural way of life.
I know this is not new for many of you. You’ve heard this story before. But it bears repeating. Our youth are the future of the industry and they are the keepers of our American outdoor way traditions. Without introducing them to the outdoors and getting them excited about wildlife today, our industry could fade into obscurity within the next 20 years.

Congress May Axe Subsidies for Activist Groups
Legislation introduced this week in Congress could axe what has amounted to federal subsidies for environmental extremist and animal rights groups making big business out of suing the U.S. government.
The legislation, a House Resolution and companion version in the Senate titled Government Litigation Savings Act, would amend the existing Equal Access to Justice Act (EAJA). Abuses of EAJA have escalated into a serious conservation issue with long-term consequences. Costs of defending unnecessary lawsuits against federal agencies such as the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service are an increasing drain on conservation funding and agency personnel today.
