Hunter recruitment today is the future of our hunting industry tomorrow, so reaching and creating ‘New HunterZ’ by giving interested youth the opportunity for their first hunt is a primary goal for the American Deer & Wildlife Foundation.

With the ongoing urbanization of the landscape, today’s ‘Generation Z’ children are more disconnected from nature than any previous generation and our accessibility and affordability to hunting have never been so challenged.

Therefore, ADWF is working with ranchers, game preserves and hunting facilities across the country to provide our youth with new hunting opportunities and wildlife experiences. The New HunterZ Program connects eager, first-time hunters with donated hunts for a wide variety of game in all parts of the country. Every hunt is different, but the thrill of the first hunt is always one of the most memorable events.
